A Bit About Me
I am one of three girls and grew up in Rocky River. I then attended college at Bowling Green State University where I received a bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies in 2010 . Upon graduating, I followed in my Mom's footsteps and began teaching Preschool which I did for 6 years. I realized I had a passion and desire to teach Elementary grades and went back to school to get a second bachelor's in Elementary Education with a teaching license in K-5 in 2019. I also have received my K-8 reading endorsement and many graduate credits in curriculum development. I have taught 4th & 5th grade Social Studies and Religion at St. Joseph since 2021.
I am also very blessed with two wonderful children. My daughter Delaney was born in 2017 and my son Thomas in 2019. We live in Bay Village with our cute goldendoodle Lucy! Delaney and Tommy both attend St. Joseph School where we all love the sense of community, family, and faith we experience each day here!
Why SJS?
Walking into SJS you feel at home. The sense of community, faith, and friendship is what brought me here as both a teacher and a parent.
What were the qualities of your favorite teacher growing up?
My favorite teacher was Ms. B at St. Christopher in 2nd grade. She always was so warm, patient, and loving. Entering her room I always felt safe and cared for and that is what I always want my own students to feel!
