A Bit About Me

I grew up in Oak Lawn, IL- a suburb of Chicago and lived there through freshman year of high school. I went to St. Catherine of Alexandria for kindergarten-8th grade. I attended freshman year of high school at Mother McAuley High School. My dad's job transferred us to Lansdale, PA- a suburb of Philadelphia. I attended 10th-12th grades at Lansdale Catholic High School. I went to college at the University of Dayton. I am currently in my 23rd year of teaching first grade in the Diocese of Cleveland. I have a husband and two children, Morgan and Owen. Morgan graduated from SJS and Owen currently attends SJS.

Favorite Religious Holiday:

Christmas! I love the traditions and time spent with family.

Why SJS?

I love the family atmosphere here at SJS.

What were the qualities of your favorite teacher growing up?

Mrs. Joyce, my 4th grade teacher, definitely influenced my decision to become a teacher. She was kind, compassionate, patient and fun- all qualities that I hope I share with my first graders each day.

Favorite food:

Anything Italian!

Favorite hobbies:

Traveling with my family- we love to see and experiences different places.

Favorite place in the world:

The beach- probably the Outer Banks or 30A beaches, but any beach will do!
